Lets talk about why I do what I do…
I’ve started really focusing on transforming my social media into something more meaningful and helpful.
It began with sharing my mental health journey, which was a big step for me but an important one. Then I started my blog, where I began sharing more about my mental health journey along with some other personal stories.
It’s important to note that I genuinely don’t do any of this to be more of an influential figure. I do it because I believe there are people who can relate and benefit from it. So I guess in some ways, I do want to be influential, but I do not want to be an influencer…does that make sense?
My newest addition to my instagram is my Arbonne business. I’ve been wanting to talk about this in a post for a while, but have been hesitant because I don’t want people to think I am writing about this on here to gain clients and thus gain money. Obviously marketing is a huge part of it, but right now I want to talk honestly about WHY I really do Arbonne, and I ask that you continue to read with an open mind. Because this is not just about selling products, its beyond that!
So something I often struggle with is having multiple things I’m super passionate about and want to pursue. It sounds kinda silly if you don’t have the same feeling but hear me out. I am in school majoring in Child and Youth Work, so obviously I’m passionate about it and want to pursue it as my career. But I’m all for multiple streams of income and pursuing multiple passions (without spreading yourself too thin of course). I am also passionate about art in many forms, and about the beauty industry, and very much so about the wellness industry. I’m here for ALL THINGS clean/natural beauty and nutrition. Now before you get the wrong idea, IM NO HEALTH QUEEN. I eat junk and I don’t go to the gym ok. Diets and weightlifting are not my style, but if you start talking plant based and yoga…well I’m all ears! So Arbonne has been a really exciting way to explore this passion of mine.
When I first started this business it was truthfully because I needed money! And obviously the money is great, but recently I’ve realized that this is something I would continue even if I didn’t make money from it. I get to guide people through their journey of bettering themselves through wellness and health! Whether that be by helping to find the perfect skincare set in order for someone to FINALLY feel confident in their bare skin, or through a 30 day nutrition program! And again, I’m no beauty guru or nutritionist, but when you join this company, you receive constant training and are therefore constantly learning! It’s awesome to really dive deep into certain ingredients and what they do for our bodies. These are the tools I use to help guide people towards the best version of themselves!
Something that has also been important to me before I started my work with Arbonne, is clean beauty. For about a year now I’ve been working on shifting my products (skincare, makeup, soaps etc.) to CLEANER options. This means chemical free, cruelty free, vegan products. This is SO important because the products we put ON our bodies, get absorbed into our bloodstream really quickly! That’s why it’s just as important as what we put IN our bodies.
So if you’ve ever wondered about the work I do in this business or how you can benefit as a client, I hope this helped!
